The 3.40m SurvitecZodiac RIBO 340 Rescue Boat is a rigid inflatable rescue boat for up to five passengers, four of whom can be seated whilst one lies. The RIBO 340 Rescue Boat is manufactured per European Commission Directive 2002/35/EC, which relates to fishing vessels of twenty-four metres and over under the terms of the 1993 Torremolinos Protocol that enforces the Torremolinos International Convention for the Safety of Fishing Vessels, 1977. The Torremolinos Protocol allows marine administrations to accept non-SOLAS-compliant five-person rescue boats that are under 3.80m but over 3.30m to be fitted on fishing vessels of 24 metres in length and over.
