The helmet weighs no more than 1.4 kg, including semi-permanently attached accessories (face lenses, drip tray, etc.).

The head adjustment device must be able to adjust the head circumference by at least 10 centimeters.

The helmet must be designed to allow the wearer to wear a helmet over the respirator facepiece without obstructing vision.

Reflective markings must have an area of 26 cm².

The mother body, shock absorber, chin strap, chin rest, and attachment body shall not swell or soften in the sweat test and hair oil test.

The maximum transmitted impact force on a human head model does not exceed 4,540 N and the functionality of the shell and attachments is maintained.

The flame length of the helmet's drip tray, chin strap, and buckle must be 100 mm or less, the average residual flame time must be within 2 seconds, and there must be no sustained flame or dripping (except for fastener tape).

The chin strap of the helmet must not fall off or be damaged at the point of attachment, and the elongation must not exceed 30 mm.

The chin strap can be released at a force of not less than 500 N and not more than 1,000 N.

The maximum lateral deformation does not exceed 40 mm and the residual deformation does not exceed 15 mm.

The leakage current of the helmet shall not exceed 3.0 mA.

The helmet must be a KFI (Korea Fire Industry Institute) approved product.
