This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The cabinet is fitted with nine hangers to store up to 72 automatic lifejackets depending on type (not stored in vacuum or foil bags) The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The interlocking doors are secured with 316 stainless steel 3 way locking fitted with a single handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
