This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The cabinet is fitted with 2 equally spaced shelves for the storage of automatic lifejackets in bags,foam filled lifejackets or immersion suits. Exact capacity depends on model being stored. The design ensures a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door apertures. The hinges are secured with 316 stainless steel nuts, bolts and washers. The interlocking doors are secured with 316 stainless steel 3 way locking fitted with a single handle to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.
