The JB10.600LJ Automatic life jacket cabinet stores up to 12 automatic Life jackets on two hangers. This helps to prevent condensation which can lead to accidental inflation. These cabinets are manufactured using Lloyds approved composites including UV resistant gelcoats to provide long lasting protection in even the harshest environments. This is backed up with an excellent IP rating of 56. It has both Lloyds and ABS approvals. The design achieves a high level of rigidity for the relatively low weight with a very effective EPDM seal around the door aperture. The hinges are in 316 Stainless steel as are the hinge fittings for long term corrosion resistance offshore.

The door can be specified with left or right hinging and features a nylon rod handle to pull the door open to guarantee fast access in an emergency even when wearing gloves.

Please note: For automatic life jackets stored in vacuum or foil bags, we recommend using the JB10.600LJS as this uses shelves rather than hangers.
